Haziri: Last night's meeting with Kurt was late. The government is hiding failures behind negotiations with Serbia.

The deputy head of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lutfi Haziri, in an interview on the “Facing” in Telegrafi.com, has called yesterday's meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who invited opposition leaders to inform about dialogue with Serbia. This meeting was held nearly two weeks after the end of what Kurt [...] had done.
This meeting was held nearly two weeks after the end of what Kurti held with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, in Brussels, with the European Union's mediation.
And according to Haziri, the delay of the executive leader in informing the opposition of this meeting testifies to an existent problem in Kosovo -- “politika doesn't develop internal dialogue, not with the opposition or civil society”.
Kosovo's “citizens and Assembly are unaware of the dialogue process with Serbia. But better late than never. We were invited to that meeting and went because dialogue is a very important process for the country. It's a very serious process”, he said.
Haziri also commented on the LDK leader Lumir Abdjik's statements, given before the media yesterday that for the meeting in Brussels between Kurti and Vuciqi, they received more information from European mediators.
He said that “we received information about that meeting from Prime Minister Kurti as much as he has seen fit to share with us”.
In this interview, the LDK deputy chairman also accused the Kosovo Government of “of hiding its failures behind negotiations with Serbia”, while the prime minister of changing positions by the opposition receptive and co-operative with Serbia.
“I don't believe in the big final problem with Serbia. For the past 10 years, I have said that we are heading towards a solution to a process that will normalise reports of a period of”, Haziri stated.
“Negotiations with Serbia is the problem behind which the Kurti Government is hiding. All failures and delays in domestic politics are hiding behind dialogue. The opposition prime minister has been protesters, objectors, resistance and distrustful, while now he is co-operative, negotiator and receptive”.
The late meeting he called by the government chief called yesterday the LDK chairman Lumir Abdixhiku.
After the meeting ended, he said in a statement before the media that what Prime Minister Kurti told them, they were heard in advance by the international mediator.
We assumed that this invitation is late after it comes two weeks after the meeting in Brussels. Meanwhile, opposition parties have been informed in detail by the international mediator in a deeper way than since Prime Minister Kurti briefed on today. He made today a presentation of six points which are already known to the public”, the LDK's first said.
He further expressed the LDK's position regarding dialogue, saying Prime Minister Kurti must show courage and go into dialogue to seek final agreements with mutual recognition at its core.
“We believe that fragmented dialogue is in Serbia's sole interest. Therefore, the more Kosovo deals with technical agreements, feed on Serbia's interests. We urge the prime minister to be courageous and go into dialogue to seek final agreements with mutual recognition at its core, with respect to the Constitution and respect for territorial integrity at its core. It is up to the prime minister to do what is his task”, Abdixhiku said.
He also said Kurti was asked to report to the Kosovo Assembly before going into dialogue and after returning.
