Deputy Prime Minister Faithful Bislimi, has declared that Prime Minister Albin Kurti was willing to meet with Aleksandar Vucicin on 14 July in Brussels, but that he has sabotaged the meeting. Bislimi says it was before two meetings took place this week between Kurti and Vuciqi in Brussels, for the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia. These statements, Mr. Bislimi did so during reporting to the European Integration Commission.
The July 14th meeting of “is due to be a trilateral meeting between Mr. Lajcak and the two chief negotiators. The trilate meeting has not occurred because Serbia has pressured the agenda and the meeting has not happened, so we have a sabotage of Serbia.
The idea of the trilate meeting has been to prepare grounds for the upcoming meeting, maybe this week, tomorrow, between the two heads of state, it has also been wished because of Mr. Vuciq's unwillingness to go to Brussels. Mr. Kurti has been willing to start discussing the comprehensive agreement as soon as possible, but Mr. Vuciq has revealed the reason for Vuciki's president in Serbia.
There is Kosovo's maximum commitment and will to reach final agreement. But, there is a total lack of Serbia's commitment in this direction”, Bislimi has said, Periscopi has followed.
The most interesting record of Bislem reporting in the Commission, which brings to Periscope.
During the report to the Commission for European Integration, Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi has criticised the opposition for not knowing where he is finding those citizens who are dissatisfied with government policies.
He has said that only citizens who are affected by narrow interests are concerned.
You're saying that citizens aren't seeing the results, I don't know which citizens and which citizens you're talking to. But I think in any television debate where there's even a citizen commitment they're demonstrating completely the opposite. Only those citizens who are affected in narrow interests are having sorrows, but most are very satisfied with establishing the rule of law as well. I don't share that opinion with you”, Bislim said, following Periscope.
The opposition in the Commission has criticised Biselim for failing to postpone the legislative agenda of the Government.
He has said he does not know what the opposition calculator uses, but that the government's one is largely counting on the legislative agenda.
“It is no task to be pleased with the work of other parties. You said well that you received the mandate to get the change. After all, we had no warrants. I'm not here to make political debate with you. You have your plenary hearings. In all reports or resolutions for Western Balkan countries, only 5 times is the word corruption used in Kosovo. A quote: Kosovo has made substantial progress in fighting crime and corruption. Get me an earlier resolution that says that.
I don't know what calculator you're using, but we're having a different conclusion of the legislative agenda”, Bislim said, I follow Periscope.
Faithful Bislimi: With visa liberalisation, we're fine.
Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi says the visa process has been deliberately damaged from inside and outside Kosovo. He says we're fine with this process.
“in early June, artificially and with bad intentions, the side created beautiful sustainable expectations in Kosovo, that visa liberalisation will come to an end as the process at the June 23rd summit. This has never been said by representatives of the Kosovo government, was said by Serbia's president, Vuciq, and then embraced by a large part of the public opinion in Kosovo. I think it's been a great job to damage this process, both outside and inside, through massive escape initiatives, with photographs of 2015. I think with visa liberalisation we're fine. I agree that the criteria were fulfilled in 2018, I'm optimistic that we'll get out very quickly with the good news, but we have to get them out when they're at table”, Bislim said.
Faithful Bislimi, today is in front of the Commission for European Integration, where he has been asked to distance himself from the statement of Victory MP Pacolli to the media. Blerta Deliu of the PDK had tough replicas with Bisimi, who said he is there for the integration process. But the Commission's deputy chairman from the Vetevendosje ranks, Arbene Kryeziu-Hessen, has been locked in the debate.
“In the case of Victory Pacolli, why are you saying a word, why are you taking sides with me? It's a mistake because you're the deputy prime minister responsible for the integration process and the dialogue issues. So, you know very well, for a democratic country that's coming in with the voices of the majority that today requires censorship, and wants control by the Parliament and Government for the media, it's the least you have to say at this meeting today”, said Blerta Deliu, following Periscope.
But Deputy Prime Minister Faithful Bislimi, He doesn't even want to touch this subject.
In this debate, however, Arbene Kryeziu Hyseni of Vetevendosje spoke.
Mrs Deliu, you weren't so loud at the time. Back then, when the rapporteurs were named and named political people who had a role in the media, you weren't so loud. Don't drop the debate at a point where you want”, she said, I follow Periscope.
But, the PDK's Deliu, insisted on this topic, which Bislim again declined to speak.
I at least want to turn this discussion into parliamentary colleagues today. I want answers from the deputy prime minister. If the government doesn't know its work, go to the deputy prime minister's seat, don't even speak. When a party of 50.2 per cent attempts to close the criticism by calling for control of the Parliament and Government, it closed the debate with you”, Deliu said.
At the July 14th 2022 session, Vetevendosje MP Victory Pacolli, in the scandalous statement, urged measures against the media from the Government and Parliament.
Even as the Parliament and the government, we need to take measures is that in recent years major private media investments have been observed, through which the possibility of intervention and influence has been created on some mainstream and online media that are being used for business purposes and political blackmail. So here we ask for the attention of the Parliament and Government to take action, and to understand more what is going on with the functioning of the media, with the transparency and identification of media ownership”, Pacolli said at the session. /Periscope
