Serbian police seized nearly 1m euros in a BMW with German license plates at Presevo border crossing

Serbian police have seized 700 thousand undeclared euros at the Presevo border crossing. As Serbian media reports, police found the money after stopping a German-traded BMW X6, where there were two foreign nationals, Express records.

In addition to money, police have seized the car allegedly smuggled money as well as some precious stones.

Serbian media, KoSSev writes that the total value of money, goods and cars that were confiscated has amounted to over 840 thousand euros, according to Serbia's Customs Directorate.

In the customs question if they have anything to submit for customs control, both according to Serbian customs have responded to having nothing with them.

More than 600,000 euros and nearly $12,000 undeclared dollars have been found in the car, which had been hidden in a supermarket bag, in a box, in a plastic box with children's toys, and even in a box of baby foam, says the statement.

The BMW X6 car, which was seized, is estimated to be worth 110 thousand euros.
