Rama desperate: Kurti arbitrary government left us without Sonny Hill for 15m euros.

Pristina Mayor Progress Rama has said that for the failure of the Sunny Hill Festival, the Government is guilty. He has said the government deliberately stalled the process while saying it hopes Sunny Hill will return to Pristina next year. He said the profit that was estimated to come out of this festival for the municipality is 15m euros.

He said the following:

“Sunny Hill will not be held in Pristina this year. It is depressing news for the capital and all of Kosovo.

Sunny Hill belongs to Kosovo, belongs to Pristina, to our young people and ours who have been looking forward to this year's edition.

The reason this festival moved to Tirana is due to the government's procrastination, which despite the whole process of giving in the use of municipal property for the festival has been made full compliance with the law, central institutions have consistently made efforts to intervene in municipal competencies and chairman, as yesterday confirmed by the Kosovo Communist Association.

Unfortunately, efforts have been made for political points, the decision to return to the Assembly, against the municipal assembly's decision in Pristina.

This government procrastination is unforgivable and has harmed our art, culture, youth and economy.

I invite the Kosovo government to take the necessary actions and confirm the legality of the municipal assembly's decision.
