In conclusions published by European Council spokesman Barend Leyts, this council reportedly welcomes the political agreement reached on 12 June by leaders of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Brussels.
While, the European Council in these conclusions is said to be ready for Bosnia and Herzegovina to grant candidate country status after the European Commission reports on the implementation of 14 key priorities defined in its opinion.
The European Council is ready to grant candidate country status for Bosnia and Herzegovina and to that end invites the Commission to report without delay on the implementation of the 14 key priorities defined in its opinion, with particular attention to those making up a series of essential reforms so that the European Council can come back to decide on this matter”, is said at the 21st conclusion point, Klankosovat.v.
