Attorney Koci: Disturbing, the number of women with the headscarf is growing so rapidly

Kosovo lawyer Arian Koci is saying the number of women carrying covers in Kosovo is on the rise. For this, he said the reason is the lack of freedom of movement across Europe and that isolation gives space to the coming of a religious political ideology. Although he says he considers freedom and righteousness [...]

Although he says he considers freedom and individual rights, Koci does think the covering is Albanian identity.

I don't know how much you're noticing it, but I don't worry about it, so it's growing the number of ladies and ladies that started putting the cover on your head. And that, not the cover that some grandmothers wore, but the typical covering that expresses religious definition”.

Koci also asks if there were a lot of ladies or ladies with covers 20 or 30 years earlier?

The lack of communication with Europe, largely because of the isolation that the European Union has wronged us, is one of the main reasons for delving religious ideology. Religious political idealology. It's just this job: the more you communicate with Europe, the more you absorb from its culture, customs, and customs. On the contrary, the retrograde structures that spread political ideology through religions set the stage and moment for its development. And for now, they're blooming! Therefore, visa liberalisation and communication with the world is essential for us. Europe has to understand this without delay. And when it gets late, it will be the biggest problem for Europe than for Kosovo itself”.

Koci on a Facebook post also related an event he faced one day.

My attitude that the headscarf can only be prohibited by law, not by the improvisement that is being made, is known.

In fact, I believe that the basis of a democratic and healthy society is freedom of speech.

That's why I defended freedom of speech, even to some person I don't agree with I said anything.

I protect that freedom at all costs. And within the framework of freedom of expression is the right to carry the head/bull.

Does this reflect our Albanian identity and European definition?

Not at all!

3.

I was in a hospital the other day. The employee of the late 30s, the lady I've known for a long time, had worn the headscarf.

A few months ago, there wasn't one!

Her colleague was also wearing a tissue.

While waiting, two more ladies were wearing head coverings.

.

Even in Turkey, it doesn't happen that of the six ladies in a space, four are wearing headscarves.

4.

Individual right and freedom of expression?

Of course!

Have we had so many ladies or ladies covered 20 or 30 years ago?

No! Absolutely not!

Does this reflect our Albanian identity and our European definition?

Not at all!

When did Albanian mothers and women carry burkas?

Never!

Every time I walk through Bajram Kelmendi (formerly-Velusha) street in downtown Pristina, I see ladies with burkas.
