Deday said that during the time he was ambassador to Skopje, relations between the Turkish Embassy there and the Kosovo Embassy have been frozen.
According to him, the reason for these reports has been his appointment as ambassador.
When former President Ivanov waited for me, when I submitted my credentials, he said: I had trouble accepting you ambassador, I asked why, he said, "My friend Erdogan called me and said: What a shower, this person don't accept an ambassador that this person screws up my political agenda in Macedonia.
The Turkish Embassy in Skopje has frozen reports with the Kosovo Embassy in Skopje until I am an ambassador. This is a scandal. I have called for the Kosovo independence holiday, they have said don't send us any more invitations, while George is the ambassador we don't cooperate with the Kosovo Embassy”, Deday said at Kanal 10.
