A 19-year-old who is a member of the Cloldstream Guard reports that he has left his ceremonial duties as a Royal Guard guard in Windsor and joined the Ukrainian International Legion as a foreign volunteer for war.
The shocking event has panicked the Ministry of Defence, with security chiefs trying to prevent the teenager if Russia claims Great Britain has entered into war if it is discovered that active soldiers are being found on front lines.
According to The Sun, the soldier wrote to his parents before buying a one-way ticket to Poland during the week with the idea of then entering Ukraine. Since then he's posted a photo of his shoes on Snapchat.
It is suspected that it is one of four British soldiers who have left their country in the direction of the war zone, spreading panic in the U.K. army that Russia can use the occasion as an excuse to start World War III.
So far, only the former military personnel from the United Kingdom are supposed to have volunteered in the Ukrainian Army, while active members of the British Army have been banned from joining the war. Former army forces have called deserters as completely irresponsible and have warned that they can be sentenced to prison once they return to Britain.
