Japanese ship leaves Persian Gulf after blocking across the Strait of Hormuz

A Japanese-owned ship, with three members of the Japanese crew, has managed to get out of the Persian Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz on Friday, after being stranded in the region due to clashes between the US and Iran.
The ship is an oil tank that sails under Liberia's flag and is currently moving toward Japan.
With the release of the tank, all ships linked to Japan and the Japanese crew have already been evacuated from the Persian Gulf, according to Japan's Foreign Ministry.
Japanese diplomats said that, given the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Iran, the government of Japan will continue to make diplomatic efforts to return free and safe navigation through the Strait of Hormuz writes DW.
