Prosecutor Maloku told Gazeta Express that the action is continuing and so far 12 locations have been checked.
“Operation system already completed in 12 locations. In Pristina, Ferizaj, Lipjan, Skenderaj etc”.
He said he cannot confirm whether there are arrests, as he said within minutes Ferizaj's Founding Prosecutorship would come up with a media communique.
In the first action known as “Brezovica”, in the month of December last year, 10 people were arrested in their midst, including the former head of the Shtrepca municipality, Bratislav Nikolic.
The event had also continued in four men's detentions this year.
The detainees are suspected mainly of criminal acts, misuse of office and accepting bribes.
