Lajcak has written that he fully agrees with NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoana, who has said Serbia and Kosovo should show restraint and prevent escalation of the situation.
“Plottly agrees with Mircea Geoana. Grateful for NATO's excellent co-ordination with both staff-level leadership and NATO on the ground”, Lajcak wrote on Twitter.
Replacer of NATO, Mircea Geoana, has expressed concern with recent developments in the country's north, as Serbs announced the news of withdrawal from the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
Deputy Secretary Geoana announced that in connection with these developments, she has talked with EU mediator for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue Miroslav Lajcak.
He has called for non-execution of the situation, until he said KFOR is ready to intervene if stability is threatened in the region.
