The economy ministry prohibits the production of cryptova peaces, as emergency measures in the face of energy crisis

Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli, days ago, has decided on emergency measures to cope with the energy crisis that has already engulfed the country. As a result, these measures include halting the production of cryptova peaces throughout Kosovo's territory, as the same spend much energy on production, the Economic Bulletin conveys.
Through an announcement on the ministry's official website, it has announced that all relevant institutions are obliged to identify the location of the cryptova peace production as well as to halt the activity in question immediately.
“These measures include halting the production of cryptova peaces throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, which imposes all relevant institutions to identify cryptovalutes production locations and to prevent activity in question”, the report says further.
We remember that the ministry's proposal for emergency measures provided the specific measures, but also the establishment of the Technical Committee within the Ministry of Economy with the aim of identifying and presenting recommendations to the Ministry of Economy.
The technical committee, founded by the ministry, consists of representatives of all relevant institutions like; Economy Ministry (ME), Energy Regulatory Office ( ZRERE, Transmitting System Operator and Market System (KOSTT), Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK), Internal Affairs System Operator (KEDS), University Service provider (KESCO), Ministry of Industry, Industry, Intervention and Trade (MINT), Ministry of Internal Affairs (MPB), Independent Commission for Mine and Mines (KPMM) and Kosovar Concury Authority <8>.
This committee is designed to identify and recommend implementation of measures to address the negative effects of the circumstances created under which the Economy Ministry will make decisions and publish restrictive measures.
Besides, in a statement by the ministry days ago, it was said that based on these recommendations, the Government as an emergency measure would impose specific obligations for energy companies in order to address any sudden or long-term lack of energy production capacity, transmission capacity or power distribution.
