Sunday morning, the Taliban have managed to take control of Jalaalabad, the capital of Afghanistan's Nangarhar Provinca. Also, it is reported that they have all of Afghanistan's border points under control, the only way out of the country is only Kabul airport.
Meanwhile, Afghanistan's Interior Minister announced that the Taliban have surrounded Kabul and have already launched an offensive to take over the capital. According to him, the Taliban are entering all sides of Kabul. The Associated Press, while quoting officials who have spoken on condition of anonymity, reports that there has been no fighting so far.
