Police in the news made to the media say they have so far confiscated 50 weapons at family parties.

Police add further that there were no wounded persons from gun shooting.

Below the police announcement:

In our country, there are still occasions when at the party wedding, a firearm is fired to express joy! Kosovo police, with the aim of protecting the lives and health of citizens and creating a safer environment for such manifestations, have been quite active recently by negotiating with citizens and security forums, adding patrols aimed at preventing shootings at weddings, and in cases where only there have been shots interviewed by launching criminal cases and confiscated weapons used in such cases.

Given that every bullet coming out of the barrel will fall somewhere, and since that bullet can cause injuries and, in the worst case, loss of life, police patrols without hesitation, from June 28, 2021, until August 04, 2021, at the party wedding they confiscated 50 (five) guns, 23 of them with gas, 10 (ten) long arms, and arrested 39 (fourth of nine) individuals involved.

Unfortunately, none of these shots were injured.

Kosovo police once again request, appeal to all citizens to refrain from using weapons in their joys and celebrations so that joy does not return to the antation of that word
