Croatian Civil Protection Chief: There were also children on the bus, eight people are in serious condition

Croatian Civil Protection leader Damir Trutt addressed the public after the tragic accident of the Kosovo bus in Croatia, which killed 10 people who had left Frankfurt for Pristina. He stressed that 44 people who were inside the bus have been admitted to the regional hospital, eight of them severely injured. He said four of them underwent surgery, while
“44 passengers were admitted to hospital at Slavonski Brod. Eight of them were badly injured, four were operated”, Trut said, adding that there were children on the bus.
He said he can't tell if there are even children among the 10 dead.
Regional hospital director Dr. Josip Samardzchi said 45 people had been admitted to the hospital since morning, who had sought medical assistance after this serious accident on the highway near Slavonski Brod, and that eight were badly injured.
According to the Croatian medium, 24sata.hr, bus drivers from Kosovo who were carrying exiles from Frankfurt to Pristina had fired on the coast for half an hour before the accident. There they had changed, and the other driver had taken the bus route. It's supposed to be because of the driver's fatigue.
