Year: 28 fellow countrymen have been released from hospital in Croatia, 15 continuing treatment

Kosovo's Health Minister, Arben Vitita, has indicated that from the hospital in Slavonski Brod, Croatia, 28 fellow countrymen who had suffered injuries during the bus accident Sunday, where ten people died. He has said that another 15 continue to receive treatment at Slavonski Brod and one of them has been transferred to the clinic in Zagreb.
“15 of our fellow countrymen who are being treated in hospital in Slavonski Brod are in stable condition, except for the two people in intensive units. One is still in serious condition, the other in stable condition outside the risk of life. Of those released, four of our fellow countrymen have decided to go to Germany for further treatment, in full co-ordination with our embassy in Croatia and the Croatian Red Cross. Six are expected to be released in the following days by Thursday or Friday. The ninth will continue to receive medical assistance until rehabilitation, and then we will see if they want to continue the treatment in Kosovo or Germany”, Vitita said at the media conference.
Vitia has said that most of the injured have politicians, broken limbs or ribs in some cases.
He has thanked Croatian authorities for the assistance offered. The Croatian authorities' commitment has been maximum.
Minister Vitita has indicated that from fellow countrymen who have returned to Kosovo, one has shown some concerns, and the medical team hosted him at the airport and has been sent to KKUKU.
