Serbian Vecernje Novosti writes today that Usington has activated all diplomatic mechanisms to membership Kosovo in NATO.

Officials in Washington have activated the entire diplomatic mechanism in order to secure Pristina's NATO membership, even without UN permission. The four European countries, members of the Alliance, which have not recognised Kosovo's independence -- Greece, Spain, Romania and Slovakia -- are under great pressure to do so.

The goal is two-way. On one hand, to end Belgrade's long resistance to recognising Kosovo. On the other hand, to deliver the message to the eastern partners of Serbia, particularly to Russia, that the entire Western Balkan region is under the umbrella of America and its allies.

President Aleksandar Vuciq has also spoken openly about the impending danger of Serbia, saying that the idea of Kosovo's NATO membership, if it cannot be done without the UN, has been first launched by John Hopkins professor Daniel Server.

The idea is to boost co-operation between Spain, Greece, Slovakia and Romania on another level, because they do not need Cyprus for this. Pastan, Americans, through a bilateral request, in which they could say that in the name of half of Kosovo, they apply for NATO entry and admission into the Alliance. This could immediately shorten Serbia one arm and cause countless problems. This is one of the pressures I'm having, Novostin Vuciqi quoted here.

Unless NATO is making us surrender on all sides, Vuciq says he has very good reports with NATO Secretary General Jens Soltenberg but cannot fight back NATO.

“NATO has helped us to maintain peace in Kosovo and Metohija (as Vucinq calls Kosovo).

Euroazi Security Forum Director Mitar Kovac has told Novosti that Kosovo's drive towards NATO membership is part of the American strategic plan for the Balkans.

There is a constantly growing pressure on Serbia and on EU countries that have not recognised Kosovo's independence to accept this territory (like.) in the Alliance. This story was opened about a year ago, and every day and more are talking about it because Americans are rushing to make Kosovo part of NATO, even before reaching an agreement to normalise relations between Pristina and Belgrade. However, I think that Kosovo's NATO membership could not pass the public test as easily in some countries as Greece and Spain, because indirectly, it would mean accepting Kosovo's independence from these two countries”, he tells Serbian Novosti, It's Periscope.

Serbian Army Chief General Branko Kroga tells Novosti that there is no doubt that Washington will do anything to push this project” forward.

Kosovo's “entry into NATO could be against international law. Not to mention here that he would set a precedent for NATO because only countries that have achieved full capacities can join NATO”, Korga says.

Political analyst Dragomir Andjelkovic says America is trying in every way to protect the monstrous quasi-state.

“As Kosovo joins NATO, there is nothing left to do, since under such circumstances we could send our forces to the province (Kosovo as). This is a serious plan and it would be a big risk for us. We need to see how we will position and take a clear position as well as speak openly to all Western countries, as this would imply a new kind of aggression against Serbia”, he has said. /Periscope.
