Former LDK) candidate for chairman of Drenas arrested under suspicion of money laundering

Kosovo police through a communiqué addressed the media have announced that they have arrested three people under suspicion that they cleaned up money, among them Bedri Nikaj, former LDKyet candidates for chairman of the Drensa municipality. The two arrested A.N. and E.N. investigators have indicated that the money was taken from Bedri Nikaj, who was also interviewed.
We remember this is not the first time the former LDK candidate faces similar charges. In 2012 Nikaj is accused of counterfeiting $80,000.

Police investigators from the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption, following the development of preliminary investigations, on the Pristina Constitutional Court's ordinance today, in 27.05.2021, have conducted house searches in the town of Drensas.
Investigations and Then Control Are Done on Suspected Suspects (A.N. Male, v.l. 1992 and E.N. female, v.l. 1999) in interaction over time from dt. 27.02.2021 to dt. 11,03.2021, allegedly placed chemical response notes (Although 118 x 50) worth 5900 euros (five thousand and nine hundred euros).
The two suspects allegedly put them in circulation by depositing them in bank ATMs and then withdrawing the same money values that have been regular. During the search on one suspect's home, there have also been three colored bills of 50 euros (35050).
During the interview of the two suspects, it has been found that monetary means that they have put into circulation have been taken away by the suspect (B.N.). Male, v.l. 1971, also interviewed in the presence of his defense attorney.
After interviewing suspects B.N. the prosecutor has pronounced the 48-hour ban, while the case continues in regular procedure against two other suspects.
