Blinken in Jerusalem: We will help rebuild Gaza, but Hamas will not benefit

But he added that the US would ensure that the Hamas group, which controls Gaza, did not benefit.

More than 250 people have died, most of whom in Gaza, during the 11 days of fierce fighting that ended Friday with a ceasefire agreement enabled by Egypt.
Violence had erupted after weeks of tension in eastern Jerusalem that culminated in clashes at Muslim and Jewish shrines.
Kosovo has also sided with this conflict with the Kurti Government that has upheld Israel's right “to defend itself”.
Blinken began his three-day visit to the Middle East with his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyah. /Periscope
