Two years ago, the National of Kosovo was named “Brazil of the Balkans” and was seen as a source of pride for society following good results in “Euro 2020”. Four years ago, the National of Kosovo was badly reviled and viewed as a source of shame because of the successive statements it suffered in “Boteror (20188x5> Qualifications.

Four days ago, Kosovo was again named “Brazil of the Balkans” after defeating 4-0 Lithuania. Two days ago, Kosovo was badly reviled and seen as a source of shame after being defeated 0-3 by Sweden.

This radical disarray of feeling expresses the emptiness of our national identity but also its fluidity. This 20 - year - old identity flight makes it especially important to even a single sports team, since it is the definition of the future from the present, unlike past archaic identity. The latter was defined more in the past, making this time more vivid than the present, and making the well-being of heroes in history more important than the well-being of citizens today. But the new identity is built by the country's location that determines some sports games in the world, rather than obtaining agricultural production.

Kosovo's national football is thus an identitative definition just like the war used to be. It has translated war, its language, and for that very reason the pride and shame it builds are greater than the Bruto-Produty local [ GDP or some other measure element with other nations.

Unlike nearly every other nation in Europe, Kosovo has only football as a popular sport. This makes “turpin” even heavier. Kosovo's national football site is not just national football, but national, representing any other sport. And since sports are not understood in its essence as expressed by the etimology [as a means to spend leisure time, in order to enjoy it], the National Party becomes an indicator of failures and disappointments in other areas where our nation would deal with other nations.

But what is the real power of the National of Kosovo in football, the men's category?

The radical struggle from shame to pride, and from pride to shame, suggests that there is no collective understanding of the real strength of the National of Kosovo. That time is viewed as a “Brazil of the Balkans” and, like, San Marino.

In fact, Kosovo is not the strongest national in the Balkans. It is even difficult to find another weaker national. Maybe, only Montenegro. And yet, what worries is not as much the current national team as its future.

Our nationale depends too much on diaspora players having a very weak local league. And yet, the best diaspora players do not play for Kosovo, but for other national teams. In addition, Kosovo's most expensive players are three football players raised in the Kosovo league.

The entire value of the National of Kosovo with 26 football players, according to TransferMark, is 77m and 200 thousand euros. The three adult players in Kosovo -- Muriqi, Rasica of Canthman -- make up half of that value, or 38 million.

But, the diaspora makes up 18 of our national team's 26 players. Only eight [with the above-mentioned three] have gone through Kosovo clubs.

This first shows the major potential of the Kosovo League to produce great footballers. But the other shows its poor current.

Kosovo cannot rely on diaspora players to increase the quality of the national team. Players who find space in the nations where they grew up will reject us. And the incoming players will never exceed the value of 10 million.

What needs to be understood once and for all is that the quality of our national team is directly related to the work done in the local league. So if we don't intend to do serious work and compete with other states in other development areas, at least we have to seriously invest in this sport as popular as Albania has. Otherwise, we're going to stay forever.
