Albin Kurti has only the power to refuse Israel's recognition

Kosovo Prime Minister-elect Albin Kurti has promised Turkey's ambassador to Pristina that he will consider the issue of placing the Kosovo Embassy in Jerusalem. Mr. Kurti's comments followed a letter by President Erdogan to him on the occasion of victory in the elections, where this demand was in the first place.

In fact, there is no debate or any choice in Kosovo regarding Jerusalem. Kosovo has only the power to accept Israel's recognition, or to reject it. The rest are verbal games.

Washington's agreement is a pledge of the state of Israel to recognise Kosovo by headquarters in Jerusalem.

Kosovo as a new state, recognised by Israel, does not have the luxury of states that have previously recognised Israel mutually to choose between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, including here and Albania.

Israel cannot undo relations with states that have headquarters at Tel Aviv, since it has assigned the Embassy's own headquarters when they have met each other.

States that must move headquarters to Jerusalem are states that show greater access to the cause of the Israeli State. The US made such a gesture with Trump, even though the decision was followed by strong criticism. But he won't change again.

Kosovo does not have this luxury of choice. Kosovo is a new state, which Israel recognises in its terms, where it is defined as the diplomatic capital Jerusalem. Kosovo can either accept this recognition or not. That's all he's got.

Albin Kurti knows that. This is a U.S. recognition and accepting it, accepting and playing hard on US politics.

Rejecting it for Turkey's interests, you have turned Kosovo into an autonomous province of the former Ottoman Empire.

Israel's recognition of Kosovo is probably the most important recognition, following first week's recognition of Kosovo's declaration of independence. That recognition interrupted the humiliating process of attracting recognition under Serbia's influence, or rejecting new recognitions, which had been in place for several years. The US secured this recognition at a table with Serbia, humiliating them twice.

Hence, the use of sentences that increase expectations for both Turkey and the US does not work. He may lie to any Muslim leftovers of Vetevendosje, but not to the U.S. and Israel.

Albin Kurti can refuse recognition by Israel or accept it as it has been done and go to the inauguration ceremony, as Prime Minister Netanyahu invited. No man has given him a mandate, no consideration, no dictates conditions for Israel.

I just have to prove whether Kosovo is on the historic line of diplomatic co-ordination with the US, or will start a new era against it.

Albin has to explain this. It's about continuing to explain Albanians then, even though it's a shame to take them to a pro or counter referendum. USA, the place that freed them.
