Generous Albania: With an application, any Kosovo can get 5-year leave to stay in Albania

All Kosovo citizens will be able to obtain five-year residence permits in Albania with only a simple application.

Albania's Interior Minister Blendi Cuci delivered the news after the Albanian government's meeting. According to him, the government has approved the agreement today, which will be signed Friday between the two countries.

“Today, we approved one of the agreements we will sign Friday between Albania and Kosovo, which concerns the permission of the position of the respective citizens. It is good news for Kosovo citizens who will simply receive a five-year permit application in Albania and within it, work permit. It is also good news for Albanians living in Kosovo who will receive residence permits with simplified procedures. It is in the wake of several agreements that we will sign within sectors that include the Interior Ministry”, he said, reports “Klan TV”.

Asked about the agreement with Britain and the possibility of building a refugee camp in Albania, he denied it.
