Albin Kurt is a bit like Maratonomac, who set out to share the great news of victory and died as soon as he pronounced it.
The difference is not so small. If Marathon at least delighted citizens in the victory of war, Albin Kurti, who has been in politics for 25 years telling the national union's lie, now that he has accomplished the day he can become prime minister, with great calm he tells citizens: “Forget that job, that we will fight to join Albania. What we needed, the government, that is, we caught”.
His conversation with Oxford political magazine editors, two weeks before the election, where he is sure to lead as a winner, shows how unscrupulous he can be as a politician because of power.
The normal part of Albanian society has not expected Albin Kurti to join Albania with Kosovo, as it has had no business with that part.
His fanatic base is a race of thrushes, whatever he says, they believe it's the right one. Today I looked at the comments of his militants, praising “very well that we should join Albania”.
The same as 25 years have left without seeing as traitors, Serbian spy, bakers, Albanian soils, and so on.
But they are the victims of Albin Kurti and his democracy, which, to be factored down until the day he became prime minister, spoke as national leader.
It is now surprising that Kosovo has the Constitution, has international conditions and says we are not waging Balkan war.
We know, son, that we're not fighting, that you've been to this day sure we win this war and you've attacked every chance of dialogue with Serbs being blocked.
You've even shown up in statements, as you said Albania in 1991 had been co-operating with Croatia, they had taken Kosovo.
Exactly what Milosevic wanted to promote to turn Kosovo into burned land in 1991, where 90 percent of Albania had no idea what it was, having their eyes on the ferry to Italy and the border to Greece to survive.
After all, though, this statement today is a return to normality and uncleanness. For normality, we must pray that you no longer use the lie of the national political career union and lie to the conservative diaspora, who believed that Comrade Enver would be released by 1981.
But you owe the Kosovo Albanians a public apology, how you misused them for 25 years and gave up your promise two weeks before the elections.
And now since you've done it, try to get that Albanian flag off the table, which you've made as a rag to cover your ungodly. You don't need it anymore.
