It is learned that these 71 witnesses, among whom there are persons who have been granted the status of the crime victim allegedly committed by those mentioned, are identified by nicknames and numbers so that their names are not made public.
The procedure's preliminary judge has ordered the Office for the Protection of Victims under special conditions that through February 15th to submit detailed reports with the number of people claiming to be victims of crimes mentioned in the indictment against Thaci, Veselin, Selimi and Krasniqi.
At the final hearing hearing on the outcome of the case, prosecutor Claire Lawson said that in the plot there would be 230 witnesses in the trial scheduled to begin in September 2021.
While defending the accused requires that this process be launched more than late in the summer of 2022.
