Tivar: Kosovo arrested, allegedly stealing over 100,000 euros from a vehicle

Police officials in Tivar have arrested a Kosovo citizen under suspicion of committing the criminal offence to a person from Tivar, who has stolen money worth over 100,000 euros, the Police Directorate announced.
The V.D. (45), running a vehicle on May 16, 2026, along with two other currently unknown persons, have come to a parking lot near the Green Market in Tivar, where a traffic vehicle owned by the injured was parked. On that occasion, one of the suspects followed the injured while he was on the market, while the other broke the vehicle passenger's door window, after which they entered and stole a large amount of money in different currency, worth a total of about 1022,000 euros,” said in the statement, ETV.
After the crime was committed, police added, the V.D. and two others have left the scene with a vehicle headed by the suspect.
Police officers identified the V.D., found it and, at the order of the state prosecutor at the Constitutional State Prosecutor at Tivar, arrested him on suspicion of committing the criminal act of serious theft.
