Ymer says via Mini-Shengen, Serbia indirectly recognises Kosovo

Former Kosovo Parliament President Visar Ymeri has said that through “Mini-Shengen”, Serbia indirectly recognises Kosovo. According to him “Mini-Shengeni” will have its own problems, but Kosovo's participation in it will also create an opportunity.
” I am not saying that Kosovo should participate in Mini-Sengen regardless of the price. It is a potential forum in which Kosovo's properly negotiated participation could benefit Kosovo”, Ymer said in a televised debate.
So if we look at Mini-Schenge as the principle in its form, let's call it, ideal, because I don't know what they agreed on, it's not very transparent as procedure. Not what has been agreed on (in Ohrid and Novi Sad), what do they mean with Mini-Schengen, because if it is modeled according to that of the EU, it has not taken much of the circulation of goods but of people”.
According to Ymer, there are some problems in “Mini-Shengeni”, and the first one is political.
“The participation in a regional multilateral agreement in Kosovo can only be done in one form, Kosovo as the Independent Republic, will be an indirect recognition if Kosovo is accepted as an equal party, and I think there is no other option of accession except as an equal party”, Ymer said.
