There are about 2 thousand employees of the support staff of the Kosovo Clinical and University Hospital Service, as well as of the Kosovo Clinical and University Centre, which are not included and have not received additional support salaries of 300 euros, as the Kosovo Government has promised.

Today, some of these workers have protested in front of the USKKUK Central Administration as a sign of disappointment over their non-involvement in this package.

Kastriot Joshi, representative of the support staff, said in this protest that everyone has been endangered by the Coronavirus and that 2 thousand workers have not been involved in this package for receiving the 300-euro support salary.

We are now gathered here to protect our rights because we are aware that the personal support, such as administration, recipmissionists, IT, ambulance drivers who carried it directly were endangered by coronarys and many other categories, cooks, etc.. We have all been endangered and endangered, and none of us have received the support salary of 300 euros which Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Minister Armen Zemaj has promised. We're here to show the discrimination the management's making. We ask that we be treated equally so that we can all get over it as easily as”, he said, reports the news further.net.

On the other hand, in front of protesters, USKKKK Director Valbon Krasniqi said they are making every effort to realise this 300-euro fee for all workers who have not received it so far.

Krasniqi also stressed the will to be executed for support staff workers, since, according to him, without these workers, no medical personnel could have managed to do so well at the time of the pandemic.

You know that Kosovo has experienced difficult months in terms of pandemic management, this good pandemic management. Yesterday I had meetings with some representatives of the sectors that are currently off the list of extra payments. You know this good management is done thanks to good cooperation. We have in time called and as KSFK management we have made all necessary procedures for all employees to be involved in this additional 300-euro payment. Even as management and official paperwork, we have appreciated the role of all medical staff, but we have stressed that without support staff, management and operation of medical personnel would be impossible. We are committed to all employees receiving this additional 300-euro salary. There is will and willingness to find solutions for these workers. Because we're much more than you to take this salary until we make sure everybody gets this additional”, Krasniqi stressed, reports the news further.net.

After this speech, protest representative Kastriot Joshi said that if these payments are not executed, then the job will also be boycotted Monday.

Until Monday, unless their demand is met, the job will also be boycotted. Please consider their” requests, Yoshi stressed.

On the other hand, Dr. Avdush Baygora had come out in support of these workers and stressed that the medical staff could not have worked without administration and other services.
