Office of the President: Parliament urgently prevents Hotti from discussing Kosovo Association and Property

The office of president of the Republic of Kosovo, through a statement to the media, says that the discussion for association tomorrow in Brussels is the beginning of the installation of Republika Srpska within the Republic of Kosovo”.

The president's office calls on the Parliament to address this issue urgently.

Also, it urgently needs to vote on another resolution, with which the prime minister is barred from negotiating on Kosovo's domestic issues and on topics that endanger the state's internal order”, the statement said.

Opening the topic for community rights and for the Association of Serbian municipalities in the Brussels dialogue is a major and very dangerous mistake of the Government of Kosovo. It's a blow to our citizenship and violation of the sovereignty of our state. These topics are addressed and resolved under the Ahtisaari Pack, which preceded the declaration of independence but also under the Brussels Agreement in April 2013 and the Constitutional Court's decision. Therefore, no one has a mandate to talk on behalf of Kosovo on closed topics, in Brussels or elsewhere. Kosovo could not, and at no cost, will never allow within its territory a political entity, which would be the reproduction of Republika Srpska on Kosovo territory.

Also, it urgently needs to vote on another resolution, with which the prime minister is barred from negotiating on Kosovo's domestic issues and on topics that endanger internal state rule.
