Czech Prime Minister Andrey Babes thanked Vojtech for his work through a Twitter post, saying he could be remembered as the best minister of health if he was not obliged to use all his energy to fight pandemic.
The Czech Republic has reported an increase in the number of new corruption cases and is the country with the second fastest growth in Europe after Spain. The increase in cases came after the departure of almost all restrictive measures that went into effect during the first wave of infection.
According to the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, Chekhia has recorded 193 cases for 100,000 people over the past 14 days.
