CEC completes vote count by mail, election results updated

The Central Election Commission (KQZ) has announced that at the Counting and Results Centre, the count of the last portion of ballots from voting outside Kosovo, respectively, is closed under the early elections for the Republic of Kosovo Assembly.
The Central Election Commission reports that the Counting and Results Centre has closed the last section of ballots from voting outside Kosovo, respectively, for early elections for the Republic of Kosovo Assembly.

Since the beginning of this process (June 12th, June 21:00) and so far (April 17th, June 14:30) have been counted 223 ballot boxes, in which ballot envelopes have been placed after their approval by the CEC voter service.
The vote through mail has been enabled from 21 May to 6 June 2026, while the number of Kosovo citizens registered to vote through mail was about 105 thousand.
On Sunday (14 June), The CEC has completed the assessment process of 85,790 alleged ballot packages, of which 82,809 have been approved, already being rejected 2,981.”, the CEC report said.
