Hormuz Strait will open immediately, Trump says

Donald Trump has declared that the Strait of Hormuz will reopen immediately, linking this development to a possible agreement between the United States and Iran.
The statement was made during the G7 summit in France, where the US president appeared in front of the media together with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modini.
Before the press conference, he wrote on the Turkish Social platform that the most important part of the discussion relates to the guarantee that Iran will not be equipped with nuclear weapons and the immediate reopening of Hormuz Strait.
The majority of people wanted to talk about the fact that Iran will not have nuclear weapons and that the Hormuz Strait will open immediately”, said 80-year-old.
Earlier, the American president had said that the strategic sea route would open within days.
A memorandum of understanding between the US and Iran is expected to be signed Friday, which suggests Trump may have referred to reopening after reaching the agreement.
The Strait of Hormuz is one of the most important energy routes in the world, through which much of the global exports of oil and gas pass. Any tension in this area has a direct impact on international energy markets.
Trump's statements come at a time when the United States and Iran are trying to reach a nuclear-related agreement and security in the Middle East region. /Telegraphy/
