Power supply corruption cancels operations in two QKUK clinics

A technical defect in the power supply system has caused temporary disruptions of work in the operational halls of the Abdominal Surgery Clinic and the Psychic Surgery Clinic at the University Centre in Kosovo.
Regarding the case, Clankosova.tv spoke to QKUK's spokeswoman, Mirlinda Qyqalla, who has announced that the problem was presented in the morning hours and has to do with a technical defect in the generator system.
"Based on data from the QKUK Technical Services Sector, concerning the questions addressed to the functioning of the operating bloc in the Surgery clinics, we inform you that today, in the morning hours, a technical defect has been presented in the computer contact system; the generators”, declared Qyqala for Klaankosova.tv.
As a result of this defect, it says, personal trafos that power the operating halls of the two clinics.
“As a consequence of this defect, personal traphotos that supply operational Plastic Surgery and Abdominal Surgery halls” have been damaged, she said.
Qyqalla has stressed that technical teams have reacted immediately and are working on the complete restoration of functionality in affected halls.
“The technical maintenance team has immediately undertaken the necessary actions for sancing the defect and is working intensively on eliminating its difficulties”, the KKUK's spokeswoman said.
She announced that, according to current planning, during the day these two operating halls are also expected to be functional.
“Following current planning, these two operating halls are expected today to be functional. Meanwhile, the rest of the electromagnetic network in other operating halls is functional and there is no problem in supplying electricity to”, Qyqalla for Kankosova.tv concluded.
