International Relations Professor at Boyse University in Idaho, U.S.A., Gregory Raymond, spoke before the next meetings between the Kosovo and the Serbian sides in Washington and Brussels.
He considers Kosovo representatives will have more pressure from the US than Serbia at the 4 September meeting in the White House.
“As a result, I expect the United States to pressure both sides to agree on a certain kind of agreement. I especially expect pressure on Pristina representatives, as Washington believes it has more impact on them”, Raymond has told Serbian media.
According to him, as presidential elections approach in the US, Donald Trump's administration needs success in foreign policy to improve the president's public image and attract the attention of Americans from the number of deaths from Coronavirus and economic problems.
