Printed the Law on pandemic, these are all measures and fines for violators

It has been published in the Official Journal and has entered into force the Pandemia Law, which has been voted by Kosovo Assembly deputies. This law envisions legal arrangement for the prevention and fighting of pandemic. The fines with which citizens will be punished if they act against the law are also precise.

With 500 euros in fines, the person who does not respect the decision to restrict the circulation of citizens and vehicles at the appointed time will be punished. The law says further that the driver of the motor vehicle, who does not respect the Competent Organisation's decision to restrict the circulation of citizens and vehicles on schedule, is fined 200 euros. Punishments for those engaging in activities prohibited in private and public environments are also in the law. With 2 thousand euros in fine punishable by the person organising banned activities with the decision of the Competent Organisation, the person responsible is being fined 2,000 euros.

The physical person who organises public and non-public activities prohibited by the decision of the competent body is fined a fine of two hundred (,200) euros and a ban on activity. The introduction of unauthorized physical persons into specific environments, including but not limited to: the objects of isolation or public quarantine, private, health spaces, where there is no special access/imprisonment, is fined by a hundred (100) euro”, it says further. Anyone suspected or confirmed with COVID 19 can be punished if he does not respect isolation and quarantine.

The “Person, who has the obligation to isolate or quarantined for a specified deadline by the competent body as a precautionary measure for failing to spread the infection caused by COVIDDE19 and does not follow orders given by competent organs, is fined at 1.1. The person who is placed in isolation or quarantine under the decision of the competent body who does not follow the rules defined during the time of being in isolation/carrantine or is trying to leave the isolation/Canrantine fined five hundred (500) euros and returning to isolation or quarantine;

1.2. The person who enters the quarantine zone of the Republic of Kosovo and is not isolated or quarantined, as defined by the decision of the competent body, is fined by five hundred (500) euro”. The person who comes from the quarantine zone and does not apply the verdict by the competent body for isolation or mandatory quarantine is fined 150 euros, while the person who emerges from the isolation or quarantine zone designated by the competent body's decision is fined 150 euros without proper permission.

By 500 euros, meanwhile, all those who legally enter the territory of the Republic of Kosovo will be punished and do not declare their country of origin. “Person, who enters the territory of the Republic of Kosovo legally and does not declare the country of origin from where it comes from, as well as does not act according to the instructions of competent organs or refuses to submit to mandatory medical control measures and isolation or quarantine, is fined five hundred (500) euros. 2. The person who has illegally entered the territory of the Republic of Kosovo and is not declared, as well as not subject to forced medical control and isolation or mandatory quarantine, is sentenced to fines of five hundred (500) euros as an additional measure in addition to the legal measures for the illegal passage of the border envisioned by legislation in force”, the law says.
