Lutfi Haziri: We'll get the students back to school and check them every day.

The Gjilan municipality has made all preparations to restore students to school facilities in September.

The confirmation has come during the municipality's first meeting, Lutfi Haziri, with the directors of Gjilan elementary and high school schools.

He has said students should go back to school, but who has stressed that the pandemic with COVIDD-19 children should be checked every day.

We have to get the kids back to school. It's not easy at this time of pandemic because there's a large number of students and citizens moving. This makes us have a lot of commitment to preventing the spread of COVID-19. The engagement means that children should be checked every day and under daily supervision, including the care of teachers”, Haziri said, in addressing school directors.

He said the role of parents and the Council of Students should be increased, until ambulances in the neighbourhood and villages entered daily management with health personnel.

They will take care of the health of students and staff during the day. All measures must be taken against the spread of COVID-19. We will work on the instructions and recommendations of IKSHP and MSH. Fortunately, so far there has been no case of carrying infection by children”, Haziri said.

Meanwhile, the education director in Gjilan, Nazim Gagica, said students from 1-9 classrooms would continue teaching at school facilities, until high school students 1012 will return to school according to the UN plan, which is a week of instruction at school and a week of online school.
