At the meeting Friday, September 4th, at the White House, Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti will be accompanied by Zv. Prime Ministers Driton Selmanaj and Albula Balaj, ministers Selimi and Arba Abashi and cabinet chief Ardita Dashi.
Express has secured exclusive photos of the delegation in Washington.
The chief executive in the United States has travelled only with coalition partners, as two opposition parties Vetevendosje and the PDK have responded negatively to his invitation.
However, Hoti did not send the invitation to the two heads of state, president of the prime minister, nor has he even been co-ordinated with them before the meeting.
The invitation didn't even take over Chief Editor Vjosa Osmani.
This is the second meeting called from Washington. A planned meeting on June 27th was cancelled a few days before the detention, since The Hague's Specialised Prosecutor's Office had declared it has filed a war crimes indictment against Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, who was invited to the Washington meeting.
Dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia resumed in Brussels on 16 July, 20 months after it was interrupted.
At the end of 2018, talks between Pristina and Belgrade, with Brussels' mediation, were cut off after authorities in Pristina imposed a tax on imports from Serbia.
The tax was later replaced with reciprocity. But the government led by Avdullah Hoti removed it, saying it is being given a chance to restart dialogue.
