The court makes the decision for former Minister Numan Balic after sexually molesting a patient

The surgeon at Peja General Hospital, Numan Balic, was arrested on Wednesday week after we left about 2300 with suspicions that he sexually molested a patient in the orthopedic department.

And the Constitutional Court in Pec has pronounced a month's detention to former Kosovo Health Minister Numan Baliq on the grounds that this person committed sexual criminal work by Article 229 par.3 subpar.3.10 points 3.10.2 related to the KP's par.1.

And the Constitutional Court in Pec in its ruling gives details about how this whole event happened,

According to the Court, on the date 12,08.20, at the General Hospital in Pec, deliberately and in quality of health professionals by misusing the victim's health condition and cyst the same as to touch her sexually free of consent, so that on the critical night damaged by being the mother and companion of the hosted infant, the defendant comes there in the quality of the doctor and invites the injured to go to the custody office to consult, injured after him, and as soon as he approaches the door of the custody office, the defendant closes the door, and approaches her without the patient's consent, but the victim gets to leave and asks for help.

The defendants have been assigned detention measures for a (1) month. Against that ruling, the parties have the right to complaint at the Court of Appeals.

At Paya's Founding Prosecutor's Office, they confirmed that Express days ago the arrest of a person with suspicion of sexual assault at Pec Hospital.

The case in question has been detained by a person under suspicion that he has committed a criminal assault on sexual assault at the Pec regional hospital. And this is not the first time former Health Minister Numan Balic faces suspicion of sexual harassment. Even in September 2018 he had been arrested and then suspended with suspicions that he had sexually molested an intern in the hospital. Peja's Constitutional Prosecutor had filed charges against him in that case, but Peja's Constitutional Court last year had acquitted him of arguing that he was unable to prove he committed criminal acts.

After that, Balic has returned to work at the hospital, but the material for the first case is not over yet, as she is at the Court of Appeals.
