Candidate: Ismet Hebibi wants to become Kosovo president again, but on one condition

His desire to become president of the country has not died out, but he already has one condition.

The ophthalmologist from Junik, Ismet Hebib, who had declared his candidacy in 2016 continues to target the country's first chair even this time exclusively by the people. Hebib in a conversation about Periscope expresses his indignation with political parties, which, according to him, are shopping with the president's post.

On the other hand, Hebi says the country will be reduced if it does not have a president elected directly by the people's votes.

The country's president should be the one who chooses the people without political bargaining among the parties. The president belongs exclusively to the people, is a man who represents the unity of the people who care for all the people. No party leader cares as directly with the heart, soul and knowledge as the president. I have respect for all parties, for all candidates, but if the president is not elected once again by the people himself, that's how we're going to turn out. We had five presidential crises, the reason the parties were racing and shopping for the presidential figure. The parties belong to who wins the elections to form the government, the president belongs exclusively to the people. It's the heart, the soul, the god of the house, says Hebby.

Asked if he would run for president again, Hebibi says this would happen only if he was allowed to be elected by the people.

I will be a candidate for president (only) if the law allows for direct election of the president through the vote of the people is voted in parliament. The candidacy will have, but they're all deceptive, they're impulsive, they're things that never happen. With the current situation and current laws and constitution in force, the president comes from political bargaining between parties and the ruling coalition.
