Infrastructure Minister Arban Abrashi on Sunday has participated in the asphalt of the town of Gjilan, the enlargement project financed by the Ministry of Infrastructure.
As the statement reports, Infrastructure Minister Arben Abrashi has said that the attention of the Government of Kosovo for development projects in Anamorawa is increasingly concentrated in Gjilan.
We're finalizing this Boulevard to show the Government's commitment to my earlier projects, such as this. However, with Chairman Haziri, we have also discussed projects in the years to come. I vow we'll continue the next phase in the next year, until next weeks I'm back in Gjilan, when we start our jobs in rehabilitation of Gjilan's entrance to Klokoti. ”, Abrashi said.
Abrashi confirmed that the following weeks will also be announced the tender for the rest of the Highway, from Perlepnica to the White Sea.
With these projects, Gjilan is being integrated into the Balkan road network. So the following weeks we will see concrete work and major projects and roads linking Gjilan and Presevo, but also North Macedonia”, Abrashi said.
While Gjilan chairman Lutfi Haziri said this ambitious project translates Gjilan as an urban area into the 2020-2025 programme, as one of the centres where people and economic development are priorities.
We're on Ibrahim Rugova's Boulevard, where three large squares of Gjilan are integrated, within the urban regeneration of the city's first area. The project, launched several years ago, is taking shape. We will continue at the rest of the expansion and standardisation of the Nuhi Berisha Mala Square, Kadri Zekaı to Abdullah Tahiri's Lapidari. The regeneration envisions the second phase in the coming year, including the integration of major roads such as Makeline Albright, Adem Jasharı and Muhla Idriz Gnjilane”, Haziri said.
