These days renewed disagreement on mosque expected to be built in Pristina. What seems to divide the warring parties is its appearance. What should Mr.”'s home look like? Since God himself doesn't get involved in such things, human strife persists. But why is the appearance of a mosque such a matter?

The mosque's style will not only affect the appearance of a part of the city but also the value transition in Kosovo. Whenever it is thought of the religions of Kosovo in general, and of Islam in particular, it will be determined in the minds of each one that mosque. So the issue is hot because it touches the identitative sense of many people and exactly that false identity part that's destined for post before the world. So that's why even the Islamists got involved in the debate. One party wants to enjoy Turkey, while the other wants to enjoy the West. Thus, the debate over the appearance of the mosque has nothing to do with the appearance of our eyes, with our aesthetics (no exist), but with the appearance and identity that we will offer the other person. So, in the minds of most debateors, there is another special foreign court for Kosovo that will determine their image and identity.

While this large architectural project takes on such national importance, all the rest of the dwellings and houses that were built also became part of our identity. Postwar architecture was not only ugly as the Yugoslav but also inhuman. While the new mosque in Pristina will determine the way our foreign Islam is viewed, and with this how they see us, new buildings further polluted our view of ourselves. residential complexes and houses were built according to the personal tastes of owners and full disregard for the community. In narrow spaces, you can see dozens and hundreds of buildings with different styles that you feel together just scratch. The wealth of residents who needed shelter in the capital and the complete lack of communitarian sense were favourable preconditions for the prosperity of capitalist ferocity of builders.

Buildings and roads were built so close to each other that Pristina, like many other cities, became chaotic and overwhelming. Spaces were narrowed so much that people's body scope was made for gasp, step-to-go, treating it as a bug. Hence, there are not enough pedestrian sidewalks, car parking lots, and no bike paths. Hundreds of thousands of inhabitants settled within just a few square miles of creating a exhausting existence for each and violating each.

And here's the big problem with the new glass. Because it will be large, the space it will take at the Posta will tighten up formidablely except narrow spaces in that section. In addition to the space of the building, the faithful themselves and their cars will be caught in vast space. I can't believe God would be interested in having the house in that place.

It's too late to think about our aesthetic. Pristina does not and cannot have it because it does not even have it in the suburbs of the wealthy. But they must at least protect their common spaces to the extent they can protect themselves.
