He said tourism targets “Turkey 2023” remained as planned.

“Syning for 75 million tourists and revenues of $65 billion for 2023 will be reached”, Ersoy stressed.

He added that more than 727 hotels and about 900 restaurants have applied for the certificate of safe tourism, indicating standard measures have been taken to prevent infections from COVID-19.

Ersoy stressed that the number of public beaches available in the country's southern tourist province will increase annually.
