Russia has exceeded 500,000 cases of 8779 new cases reported by health officials. The death toll went to 6532.
But despite this increase, restrictions are being lifted quickly before major political events.
Experts say Russia is keen to lift deadlock measures ahead of two important political events, which will be remedied due to the coronary pandemic: The Moscow Victory Day parade -- the annual show of Russian military equipment -- and a landmark referendum on constitutional changes that would allow President Vladimir Putin to run for office again.
The Kremlin has insisted that the coronary crisis is under control, and restrictions can surely be lifted.
