Qatar assists Kosovo with 6500 tests and 6 respirators for Coddy-19

Today afternoon at the Kosovo National Institute of Public Health, 6500 tests and 6 respiratories -- a donation from Qatar, with the aim of best management of the coronary situation.

Health Minister Amend Zemaj, Qatar's state donation, considers it very valuable in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

We're accepting a valuable donation to the institute to protect the health of our citizens. I thank the ambassador, not only for this help at this time but for all that he has helped from 2000 to today, whose aid has served the improvement in the lives of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo. I believe these tests will help improve and protect from Pandemia Covid-19, of course this our co-operation will continue with particular gratitude to all those who have enabled this”, Zemaj said.

Qatar State Ambassador Ali bin Hamad said relations between Kosovo and Qatar are trying to push him to a higher level, in all areas.

“We hope that the people of Kosovo will get through this situation as calm as possible, relations between the state of Qatar and Kosovo are excellent. We are committed to pushing these relationships to higher levels in all fields. Today, in case of medical aid, we are pleased to stay in Kosovo, these aid is made up of 6500 tampon tests and 6 respirators. We pray that all the sick will have quick healing and provide condolences to victims from the pandemic”, he said.

Kosovo National Institute of Public Health director Naser Ramadani also said this donation would facilitate the management of pandemic.

The memo today is signed for the donation of 6500 tests and respirations to Covid-19. “Qatar Charity” in donor quality expresses the desire that in the battle of pandemic, which Kosovo is facing and the Ministry of Health generally donates in quantities of 6500 tests and 6 respiratory devices for citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
