Thanks to the good epidemiology situation, Slovenia will open international bus traffic from June 15th and allow gatherings of up to 500 people in public places, government spokesman Jelko Kacin confirmed today.
As of Monday, international public transportation, via roads and railways, will be reopened, and air transport will be activated, Kacin said in a press release following the government's meeting.
The arrival of bus tour groups can be expected from Monday, which has so far not been possible.
Moreover, the gathering and movement of up to 500 people in public spaces and areas will be allowed again, so that some sports events can be held in line with basic epidemiological measures in force during the period, Down 19.
The epidemiological recommendations after easing valid measures so far are made by the Public Health Institute (NIJZ) and will have to be submitted for foreigners who will enter the country, Kacin said.
Prime Minister Janez Janša's government has announced that there have been no new cases of infection or death from Corleone in the last 24 hours.
There are only six patients in hospitals, and none of them are in intensive care.
A total of 1,488 cases of infection have been confirmed in Slovenia since the beginning of the epidemic, and 109 people have died.
