KEKAU explains about the company's engagement “A LSTOM”

In media communiqué issued by KEK, it is said that some media deliberately designated have been disinformed to damage the company's image.

Because in recent days some KEK officials deliberately, wanting to damage KEK's image, have liquefying some media by disinforming them and through them the wide public opinion, KEK explains as follows.

For the sake of fair information of broad opinion and for the sake of transparency, the Kosovo Energy Corporation announces that the company ALTOM) has been present in Kosovo on a continuous basis since 1979, that is, since it is the Kosovo B thermal power company, while according to contractual agreements on TC-B, it has been found since 1983/4, since this plant has been launched.

In this direction, we suggest that even from post-war time, from 1999 to 2006 respectively, the company “A The LSTOM” continued its presence in TC-B (during international management and investment) with contracts from the EU-AER. Even after the fire at a large part of this thermal power plant happened in 2002, this company has made general repairs at TC-B, with the contract (EU-AER) to repair fire damage (Fire Damage Repair FDR)

Moreover, the company “A LSTOM” is the original manufacturer of key equipment in TC Kosova B, with special emphasis on turbine, generator and monitoring system (DCS) complete thermal power plant Kosova B. KEK since T construction C B, because of the manufacturer's copyright, has been forced to contract the company “A The LSTOM” for purchase repair but also installing these critical devices within the TC B. Therefore, because of the manufacturer's copyright limit, we cannot contract these services/forking with other producers for TB B equipment. So company “A LSTOM”, as projector of the TCB, has been involved in all of this thermal power plant processes since its establishment and continues to be present.

It is noteworthy that all already contracted with company “A LSTOM” has been developed in full harmony with the LPP. In this direction, regarding contracts between KEK and “A LSTOM”, we are willing to offer full transparency to all contracts that exist in corporate archives, always respecting the law on access to official documents.

In the end, the Kosovo Energy Corporation, being convinced that these slanders by KEK's appointed officials, just after 40 years of co-operation between KEK and strategic partner “A The LSTOM” is intentional and is disinforming broad public opinion, soon we will start taking adequate administrative measures to reform domestic regulations and legislation in force, including relevant justice organs. All of this with the aim of transparency and protection of KEK's image.
