Italy, Germany, France and the Netherlands have signed contracts with “Astrazencan” to provide Europeans with vaccines against Coronavirus, the Italian Health Minister has announced on Saturday.
The contract is worth 400 million doses of vaccine, which was conducted by Oxford University and advanced in the experiment phase and is expected to be completed in the fall, Roberto Speranza said in a Facebook post, writes “Reuters”.
He added that the vaccine's first container may be available by year's end.
The European Commission has received a mandate from the European Union governments on Friday to negotiate the purchase of promising vaccines against Coronavirus.
