EU reaction comes after election of Avdullah Hoti prime minister

The European Union has praised the new government of the Republic of Kosovo, to be led by LDK Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti.

EU says they already expect co-operation with Kosovo Government in joint work for advancing Kosovo reports - The EU.

“Pandemia will continue to be a challenge in the future, and the EU will continue to stand by Kosovo and its people. We also want to see Kosovo's progress on the road to the EU. This requires efforts and commitment to the strengthening of rule of law, and in particular the fight against organised crime and corruption, and to prove socioeconomic development”, the EU's response said after the new government vote.

Also in response, a quick resumption of EU-mediated dialogue and with the support of Slovak emissary Miroslav Lajcak is essential for achieving normalisation of reports with Serbia.

The EU-mediated “Dialog is the only way for the return of Kosovo's European future to reality for its citizens”, said among other things.
