Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that during the last 13 days, every evening we had reason to rejoice because there were more healing than infected.
He further said that now is no time to relax. “This is no time to reverse all the progress noted. Let's not lose the match in the last 10 minutes”, Kurt said.

Dear citizens,
Since May 4th 2020, we have started with new measures that were envisioned during the first phase of gradual opening over the COVID-19 pandemic. We are all proud of our success in the apparent decline of the virus curve in Kosovo. During the last 13 days, we have had reason to rejoice every evening because there were more healing than infected. In the last two weeks, we have 460 healed and only 90 infected (over fivefold).
As an American pandemic expert said a few days ago, Kosovo has become a success story in Europe and the world. Now, though, is no time to relax. This is no time to reverse all the progress noted. Let's not lose the fight in the last 10 minutes. We've come a long and difficult way to get to this point. We are so close to victory that restoring the virus in our midst would be even more disappointing than his own arrival.
Of course, we have been successful so far in fighting and preventing COVID-19, but no one has the right to declare this battle complete. Those who do so will enable us to win the long - awaited victory. Let us not forget that we still do not possess the antiviral or the vaccine for this virus. For all of us, he remains unknown. Although we are defeating this invisible enemy (we have nearly three and a half times as many healing as active cases), this does not guarantee the failure of new infections.
So, let's continue to respect, to the end, the health ministry's measures and IKPK recommendations.
Avoid family and social visits.
Stay home.
Keep your distance.
Let's take it a little longer, and victory will be ours.
