The presidency today has announced that Thaci has held meetings with leaders of justice institutions to discuss the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus to Kosovo's correcting Service institutions and finding a legal solution to prevent spread to these institutions.
At this meeting were Chief Director of the Correcting Service, Nehat Thaci, Supreme Court Chairman Enver Peci, Court of Appeals Chairman Hasan Shala, Parliamentary Court in Pristina President Aferdita Bytyci, Chief Prosecutor of State Aleksander Lumezi, and Chief Prosecutor of Foundation Prosecutor in Pristina, Kujtim Munishi.
Of all the representatives of the justice bodies, at the meeting, it wasn't Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu himself.
Thaci has stated on Facebook that in search of a legal solution faster to prevent the spread of the COVIDD-19 virus in corrective Service institutions, Kosovo's Assembly and public health mechanisms need to be included
