Gazeta Blic's sources within the Vetevendosje Movement have indicated that Albin Kurti has also received a letter from President Thaci, who has demanded that the mandate be handed over to form the government.
“Z . Kurt received a letter from President Thaci. He is desperately seeking to surrender the mandater's name for forming the new government”, this source told Gazeta Blic.
President Thaci wrote letters to VV Chairman Albin Kurti a few days ago.
Thaci in his letter has stressed that, in compliance with the Constitution, he is seeking to get the mandate's name for prime minister, as Kurti's party has come out first in last October 6th elections last year.
However, Kurt has refused to hand over his name, asking the president to distribute the Parliament after the end of the pandemic by sending the country into extraordinary elections.
